OOTD : Yours Clothing Tribal Maxi Dress

Maxi Dress - Yours Clothing Size 22/24

I recently bought two maxi dresses from Yours Clothing the above tribal maxi and the aztec maxi dress which i will show you very soon . The weather hasn't been great and i just wanted to inject some summer into my life .The weather was cloudy when i took these pictures but it did brighten up later on in the day and turned out to be a lovely hot day .

The dress is made from a jersey stretch material , which is really soft and very comfortable. The dress is  really long !! I am 5ft 7 and it sweeps the floor when i walk , so if you are short there is no way you will be able to wear this dress. I'm wearing a size 22/24 and i would say the fit is a little on the small size  .If you are larger on the belly/hips area like i am , it may cling to your tummy a little and i probably need to size up to get rid of the whole vbo when you walk look but its not that bad enough to bother me I'm fat and  no dress will hide that fact !

I really like this dress and i think its going to be a summer staple , chuck it on , grab some bracelets , a necklaces , wedges and your good to go , I did throw on my denim jacket to complete the outfit but i forgot to photograph it , bad blogger !

I entered my daughter in a local competition to become the new face of a local shopping centre here in south wales and I'm so chuffed to say she has been choosen as one of the 21 finalists out of 1000's , now here comes the tricky part. Nail Art - Sheep !

And here's what i created 

Sheep nails ! How cute are these nails i absolutely love them . I used the Barry M nail art pens to create the little sheep and they are the best nail art pens i have every used , they are like a felt tip . They come in 4 colours and i have all four i hope they will release some more colours soon :-)

My blog has been a little neglected of late , life has been busy and blogging had to take a back seat , but id like to share some cool things that's i have been up to the last few weeks.

1. Date Night - 30th birthday drinks and a stay in Cardiff Hilton wearing my favourite Yours clothing dress.

2. Bank Holiday trip to Cardiff bay outfit from yours clothing 

3. Cardiff Drinks - The picture was taken at 5pm and i was already swaying ! 2 4 1 cocktails are the best , ones that contain Jack Daniels in particular! 

4. Just playing with make up and curling my hair using my Babyliss Wavy Envy.

The Doctor Who Experience Cardiff Bay. 

On Bank Holiday Monday we visited The Doctor Who Experience. We are massive Doctor Who fans especially my 8 year old , she is obsessed ! I purchased the VIP package for her and decked her out in a tardis dress, we enjoyed the experience and recommend it to all Doctor who fans ,i wont say too much as i don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't been.

On ''May the forth " Cardiff Hamleys transformed into a mecca for Star Wars fans we just had to stop by !

finally this face turned 10 years old ! I cannot believe i have been a mother for 10 years !

I have some lovely clothes i have been sent to review i just need to organise my time a little better and get blogging ! So keep your eyes peeled .

Essie nail polishes are my ultimate favourite polishes. I love how they apply and ever since they changed the brush, application is flawless. My two favourite colours at the moment are Mint Candy Apple and Sand Tropez.
Is that a Maybelline Baby Lips in the middle? Oh YES it is!!I have been dying to get my blogger mitts on one of these bad boys and YES they do live up to the hype. I just wish that they were easy to get hold of. I paid a heavily inflated price on Ebay but I just had to have one.
Onto the amazing MUA lip gloss. I urge you all to go out and spend £2 on one of these. Many bloggers are comparing them to the Rimmel Apocalypse and it is a well deserved comparison. They are just as good as the Apocalypse. I will review these and post swatches in the future as I am using them every day, I think I need to buy back ups all ready!

Collective Clothing Haul From Asos , Simply Be , Yours, New Look etc.

All girls like to shop ! I thought id share with you some of the items i have bought over the last month.

Black Geek T-shirt Ax Paris via Simply Be £20 - I ordered this the day it was released from Simply Be around 6 weeks ago , however it has only just arrived today alas it was worth the wait , i love it . I'm going to wear it tucked into my skater skirt , leggings and some hi tops.

Blue Geek Jumper Asos Curve £20 - If you are thinking of buying this jumper then size down ! I originally owned it in size 26 but it was just to big , so exchanged to a size 24 which was a perfect fit . having said that i changed my mind i re ordered the 26 for the over sized look #indecisive .

Asos Curve Geometric skater dress £15 - Bought in the Asos sale at a bargain price , generous size i have the size 24 and it fits perfectly. Its been hanging in the wardrobe a few weeks now Ive not worn it as I'm unsure if i like it 100%

Black Tunic with sequin and lace detail eBay £7.99. - This is a great tunic that can be dressed up or dressed down i bought it from eBay for £7.99 and it was brand new , I'm really happy with it . Its so versatile and can be styled in many ways .

New Look Inspire Skull T shirt £10 - This is a little tight its a size 26 , i would say its more like a 22/24 Ive only worn this once it sits in the wardrobe not sure if i like it .

Simply Be Patterned leggings £16 - Simply be were kind enough to send me these leggings i haven't worn them yet , i think I'm going to team these leggings with the geek T-Shirt it reminds me of something little mix would wear.

Navy oriental bird print top Yours Clothing £23 - Casual tunic bought for holiday i am going to team this with cropped white leggings and sandals.

New look butterfly print dress £10 - Bought in the sale lovely for the summer extremely small sizing i just fit in the size 26 !

These two dresses are my favourite purchases of April.

Tropical Dress £25 Yours Clothing - Quiet possible the best dress i have ever owed , in fact it is my favourite dress ever ! . I had to size up to the 26/28 in this style as it is a fitted dress but i don't mid this . I have spotted this dress on other websites *cough New look*  for £35 ! I hate when websites mark up items grhh ! I'm going to wear this in Turkey i cannot wait sandals , large hot pink flower corsage and a  cocktail in hand I'm good to go !

Black and white floral mesh top dress £30 - I needed a smart dress for a special occasion ,with the tropical print dress from Yours Clothing being a great fit i knew i wanted the same style dress in a smarter print . I found this lovely floral print its smart its going to be perfect for my night out.
