Organisation - Kitchen Edition.

I love organisation . Everyday i read my favourite Home Organisation Blogs such as A Bowl Full Of Lemons  , The Remodeled Life and Organising To Make Life Easier there are many more but they are my favourite at the moment. I aspire to be these organised women , with their 'magazine' homes and kitchen cupboards organised by category and storage containers labeled with a dynamo label maker ( i need this in my life) Home organisation is my porn .

Whilst i read a pleathora of organazalition blogs and countless hours of you tube videos , i myself am far from organised , i live in organised chaos , just call me disorganised Jo . I need to gather up all the knowledge i have learnt from these blogs and put it to good use , so im going to start with the kitchen .

I have ample kitchen cupboards , infact i think my problem is that i have too much , so empty space becomes a breeding ground for .. well basically random shit junk . As you can see from my before pictures , i have things like cds, old tax discs , books , pictures , toiletries and old pictures all sandwiched between my cereals, cups and food . Its all so wrong i cant understand how i have allowed this to happen... Right so lets get back on track here , clearing out the clutter and bring order bringing order to my cupboards here are the results.

**No judging please Im quiet aware i USED to stuff shit in the cupboards**

I snapped a quick picture of the cooking area in my kitchen , clean and tidy , but there is a untidy secret lurking behind some of these doors !!

The pictures on the left are truly shocking !! These two cupboards were my problematic cupboards !

I bought a 4 cereal containers from Morrisions only £1.50 , i think it makes the cereal / pasta shelf look tidy and much better than the boxes / packets as i can tell if I'm running low now.

I bought a small storage container from Lakeland to store sachets like Smash, packet rice and stuffing.

To store drinking chocolate sachets and dried fruit i use little coloured bowls from Ikea , a cheap way of bringing a bit of colour to your cupboards

Every kitchen has a junk cupboard , right ? . I think i was over whelmed by my junk cupboards and i let it go a bit crazy , I'm a  little disappointed in myself alas , all is well  and order has been restored.

Your probably wondering what the other cupboards are like , ironically they are really tidy ! here's a peek of some of the others just to satisfy the curiosity !

The above cupboards are clutter free , i don't need to have lots of cups and plates as its only me and the little ones , less to wash up i say ! and i think having to much crockery leaves you open to being lazy by dumping plates in the sink and taking a clean one .

I really enjoyed sharing my organising project with you , i might do other areas of my house would you like to see these kinds of posts ?? let me know .
