Happy St Davids Day

Happy St Davids day or hapus Dydd Gŵyl Dewi

St David's Day is celebrated in Wales on 1 March, in honour of Dewi Sant or St David, the patron saint of Wales it is a day where children dress up in traditional welsh costume and schools hold celebrations called eisteddfods and its customary that adults may pin a daffodil or leek on their clothing. I personally celebrate but eating copious amounts of welsh cakes yummy yummy ! Talking of welsh cakes im off to my daughters bake sale where im going to purchase lots of traditional cakes !

well done Hollie for coming 2nd is the handwriting competition !!!!!
